• Sporting clays reservations (no online payment).

• Hunting bookings through a member portal (payment taken at booking; waiver required before going afield).

• Membership administration (sporting clays and hunting are annual memberships; no auto-renew).

We collect personal information directly from you when you make reservations or purchase memberships; automatically from your device and browser when you use the Site; from our service providers who host and operate parts of the Site or process payments; and from your communications with us (such as emails or calls).

We do not collect "sensitive personal information" for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. We collect this information from the sources identified in the “Sources of Personal Information” section.

A. Identifiers and Contact Information

• Name, email address, phone number.

  • For sporting clays reservations, we collect the name, email, and phone number of the group leader.

  • For hunting reservations, we collect name, email, phone number, and a hunting waiver (handled through Lodgerunner).

• Driver’s license may be required in-person for rentals/verification.

B. Commercial Information / Transaction Data

• Hunting booking payments are processed at the time of booking through Clover (via the member portal).

• We do not accept payment at the time of sporting clays reservations.

• We do not sell firearms, ammunition, or gift certificates online.

C. Internet/Network Activity (Cookies and Similar Technologies)

We (and service providers who host or operate parts of our Site) may collect information such as IP address, device identifiers, browser type, and activity on the Site through cookies or similar technologies.

• Birds Landing does not intentionally deploy Google Analytics or advertising pixels, but our website host (Wix) and/or our booking/membership platform (Lodgerunner) may use cookies necessary to operate their services.

9. Email Marketing and Newsletter

We do not automatically add customers to a marketing list from online activity; customers must ask to be added.

10. SMS/Text Messages

​

For hunting, our systems may send automated reminder texts for upcoming reservations, and we may send limited informational texts to members (typically 1–2 times per year). By providing a mobile number, you consent to receive such texts from us using automated technology. Message frequency varies; standard message and data rates may apply. 11. Data Retention
