At Birds Landing Hunting Preserve, we understand the importance of a well-trained dog! We welcome the training of personal dogs in our manicured training field designed to keep your dog sharp during the off season or warm you dog up during season with the following to packages:
Off-Season Training Field:
During the hunting off season, we welcome members and non-members to run their dogs within our training field that provides our carefully created cover and environment without the pressure of the hunt. We offer a warm-up dog training package that includes:

2 Pheasants to be self-planted

These birds allow your dog to warm up for their season by tracking, flushing and retrieving. We invite both members and non-members

Puppy Training Program

Must stay in assigned field unless following up a downed bird.
Dogs must be leashed when leaving field to retrieve downed bird

Afternoon Hunt
$200 + birds released
$50 per Pheasant released (8 minimum)
$40 per Chukar released (10 Minimum)
Combination hunts available (4 pheasant/5 chukar minimum)
$150 Dog and Handler or own trained hunting dog required
Max 4 hunters over one dog
Must stay in assigned area for duration of hunt
Dogs must be leashed when leaving field to retrieve downed bird
Facility Use Fee applies for all hunters and non-hunters
