Purchasing a new gun at Birds Landing
*California Driver’s License or ID Card (preferably the Real ID)
*Passport or Birth Certificate (if you don’t have the Real ID)
*A valid Hunting License or Firearm Safety Certificate (if you don’t have one or its expired, we can administrate one to you)
*Proof of residency, valid documentation. For acceptabl documents: https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/dlrfaqs#14G
* The CA DROS Fee is $37.19 plus Dealer Fee of $10 per gun.
* The ten-day waiting period begins
* Shipments to other FFL’s within state or out-of-state are possible by special arrangement with shipping fees.

Private Party Transfers
*Call for appointments, weekdays only after 1:00pm
*Both the buyer and the seller must appear in person together and the firearm must stay with us during the ten-day waiting period
*California Driver’s License or ID Card (preferably the Real ID)
*Passport or Birth Certificate (if you don’t have the Real ID)
*A valid Hunting License or Firearm Safety Certificate (if you don’t have one or its expired, we can administrate one to you)

* The CA DROS Fee is $37.19 plus Dealer Fee of $110 per gun
Guns Purchased from Another Dealer
*Gun must be shipped by an FFL dealer. Non-FFL dealers will not be accepted
*Birds Landing will need to collect CA Sales tax on the purchase of the gun if bought out-of-state.

* You will need to provide us with your information, the firearm information, and the dealer’s name, phone number and address. We will then get in contact with them to make sure everything goes smoothly.
